Gamescom Schedule - Highlights of the E3 Schedule

There are many things to look forward to this year at Gamescom, from the Awesome Indies conference to the Witch Queen Showcase and the Dead Space remake rumor. Here are some highlights taken from E3 2013. Gamescom has something that will appeal to everyone. But where to start? Here's a list of announcements and highlights for this year’s show.

Awesome Indies conference

The annual gamescom event is near. Opening Night Live broadcast will begin on August 25th. Awesome Indies will be the conference that gamescom 2021 will host in addition to the opening night. The conference will concentrate on the indie game world and should be jam-packed with new games. IGN will organize the Gamescom studio. Destiny 2 Witch Queen Showcase

The Witch Queen expansion for Destiny 2 has almost arrived! Bungie has revealed the expansion's release and added features for next year at Gamescom. The Witch Queen's trailer and gameplay revealed the storyline and endgame loops of the expansion. It will be available in February 2022! The expansion will include some cool new features. We'll keep an eye on you!


Skate 4 & Dead Space remake

EA recently confirmed the development of a Skate title. The publisher didn't provide a release time, but it did state that the game is still "very young." It is not yet possible to see gameplay footage as the company is still building their development team. There are no details about skaters, music or maps. Let's just hope all the hype is worth it when it releases later this summer.

Skate 4 is rumored to be in development

According to reports, the next installment of the Skate franchise could be in development. EA confirmed the game's development, but they didn't reveal the title or show gameplay footage. A game of this quality takes a lot of time and will probably take at least a full year before hitting the market. EA has now opened applications for the Skate team development team. However, the game is still years away from release.

Dead Space remake coming out in 2020

EA will make Dead Space 2 the first new game in five years. Visceral Games (the studio responsible for the original title) closed its doors back in 2017. Dead Space Remastered, the sequel to the original game, will be the first time that the exact same team will be in charge. EA Motive is responsible for the Dead Space remake. They pledge to be as faithful to the original game as possible and to bring a new perspective on the horror-themed game.
